Can you make up a definition of "home budget" which I can write in my Project?

I need a definition of "home budget".I tried to google it up but was unsuccessful in it.So i don't mind if you make up a definition, all i want is that it should be write-able in my project.I just want 2-3 lines, that's it. I would be really grateful if you could help me out with this.!
Income — the money you make.
Expenses — your bills.
Budget refers to the wise management of ones resources and money..
So,home budget is the proper management of your resources and money,that is to target a balance between the income and expenditure so as to enjoy luxuries to the best of your capacity in the present moment and to secure the unforseen future circumstances by saving some decent amount..
A home budget is a written report of your income and your expenses with allowances for each item. You can not spend more for that expense than you have in your budget. If you do will have a deficit budget. That is what the US has now.
