I have a good credit history but I need a debt consolidation loan. Where do I go??

My debt to income is high because I have used my personal credit to help my business. I tried applying for credit cards to transfer balances but no one will help me. any recommendations??

Anyone ever had bad experiences with Wells Fargo for debt consolidation?

I recently did some business with Wells Fargo for debt consolidation. Today, I found out that my monthly payments are going to be DOUBLE what I was told. Additionally, one of my accounts will be over the limit because of my consultant's poor math skills.

I feel lied to. I was extremely careful about reading all of the documentation. I would have never gone with them had I known the monthly payments would have been this much. My monthly payments have been reduced by all of $50 as opposed to the $230 I was expecting.

Has anyone had experiences like this with them before? I'm waiting for their offices to open to give them a call, but I doubt anything can be done now. I'm just so freakin' angry!

Debt Consolidation and Debt Counseling?

I have some bills that need payed off and I have one credit card. My question is if I go or contact a Credit counselor or Debt help business(Careone credit,debt relief agency) will they freeze my credit card account or put it on hold? My debt situation is not bad, but I've heard that if you seek help through a business that specializes in credit card debt or collections, they will freeze all of your credit cards. I am slowly building up my credit and I would hate to have them take my card away. Is this true? Any one that has or has had this problem or knows the facts please let me know some options…..Thanks!!!!

I have a friend with I believe just over $80K in business/personal (his personal cards are used for business) credit card debt and looking for a solution to help lower the monthly strain on the business. What would be the best solution in this case? He's already looked at some debt consoliation comapnies and feels as though he has no way of knowing for sure if they would work for him. Is this a situation where something other than debt consolidation would be better?

I have reached the point where I must pay off all my debt, or at least most of it. It is hurting my business, and I feel like I constanly have a huge monkey on my back. I need to find a good, honest company to help me consolidate and reduce my debt so I can move on with my life. Any help??? Please?.

With business so slow due to the economy I am seriously considering using a debt consolidation company if my creditors can not reduce my monthly payments. Will this hurt my credit and how badly? 15k in credit card debt, 17K in personal student loan debt, 15K in government student loan debt, 15k in car loan debt.

All im trying to do is consolidate my CC debt. The rest i will deal with with later.

I Can't Tell If My Debt Consolidation Company Is Legit – What Should I Do?

I'm in a little bit of financial trouble and have decided to consolidate my bills. After a few calls to a few of the different companies that offer debt consolidation, 800CreditCardDebt.com seems to be the the most legit. I have yet to sign anything, because since this is such a serious matter, I wanted to do a bit of research on the company.

Turns out my payment is supposed to go to a PO Box in Long Island, but the Law Firm that will be representing me is actually located outside of Ft Lauderdale, FL. Now, first, the PO Box kind of sounded fishy to me, but then the fact that they don't mention the fact that they're actually in Florida.. I had to do a search on Google to find that out. And, I did a search on the New York and Florida Better Business Bureau websites, and they're not registered.

My simple question is, are most debt consolidation places like this? I just don't want to get involved in a company that could possibly be a scam.

Also, I don't need a speech on not consolidating or whatever.. I'd like to do this, I just need to know if the company I'm going through is really reputable.
