I set up my music publishing company and I am registered with ASCAP. I am ultimately looking for about $20G "start up money" to grow my business into a mulitimillion dollar company. But in the immediate future, I only need about $8000 to build my home studio/office. My personal credit is being established because I learned that an insufficient credit history is the same as having bad credit. But I want to use my tax id# as an alternative short term solution until I am in a better position to execute my business plan. If you have any leads, please share. Thank you.

The information obtained in a credit report when using a Federal Tax id. How is that information diffrent or is it from using your social security number. I know about the credit reporting agencys for personal credit reports but Business credit reports are the same agencys used?

Can you use your business lines of credit for your personal use and write it off on your business taxes?

I have four business accounts:

Dell
Office Depot
Staples
Exxon

If I were to use my Exxon for half business and half personal, is that illegal? What are the stipulations on using your business credit for personal credit and writing the expenses off on your taxes? This will be the first year that I am doing real business. I just want to make sure I am doing everything right.
I have a legitimate business with a Tax ID Number and I do have one client so far. The only major purchases I have done is bought a new Dell computer for my home/office. Also, I have bought some office supplies but that's about it.

What would be the problem with bringing back the personal interest tax deduction especially for credit cards?
Yes we were able to once upon a time deduct the interest on credit cards as well other sorts of personal interest such as a car loan. Back then the excuse for eliminating this was that they did not want to promote spending. Well that was a bunch a crap in my book. That is all we heard recently to get the economy back on the roll – go out and spend. The government wouldn't have to bail us out just allow for this type of deduction to be taken once again. Depending on how much debt someone is in would determine the overall amount that could be deducted. Some more some less. As for the banks having any say with this, they are at our mercy now and with this we would like to see some of our life line money they know all to well how to spend be once again back in our wallets. With that a credit card charging 30% interest would become a thing of the past. With the hudge bailouts that the banks got without our approval and with our money this is the least that could be done to help the backbone (middle class) of this economy.
